Christian Decker 954b2c4a67 fix: Corrently parse non-testnet p2pkh addresses

The return value of `b58check` is negative on failure, and positive
values are the address version, i.e., 0 in the case of mainnet
addresses.

These are standard bitcoin manipulation routines which should be
provided by any normal bitcoin library in whatever language you choose.

The ones here are standalone ones taken from bitcoin core and some I
wrote, many taken from bitcoin-iterate and pasted in here.
