Wainer dos Santos Moschetta 0f7950fb2a packaging: configure QEMU with -O2
Currently the the configure-hypervisor.sh doesn't set any optimization flag when
compiling QEMU >= 5.2.0 since the configure script will implicitly set -O2 on Ubuntu. But
on other environments, for example CentOS 7, it won't be set any optimization and this
results on the compiler warn:

  # warning _FORTIFY_SOURCE requires compiling with optimization (-O)

To avoid this inconsistent behavior across different build environments, let's explicitly
set the -O2 flag.

Kata Containers packaging

Introduction

Kata Containers currently supports packages for many distributions. Tooling to aid in creating these packages are contained within this repository.

Build in a container

Kata build artifacts are available within a container image, created by a Dockerfile. Reference DaemonSets are provided in kata-deploy, which make installation of Kata Containers in a running Kubernetes Cluster very straightforward.

Build a snap package

See the snap documentation.

Build static binaries

See the static build documentation.

Build Kata Containers Kernel

See the kernel documentation.

Build QEMU

See the QEMU documentation.

Test Kata using ccloudvm

See the ccloudvm documentation.

Create a Kata Containers release
